“Trans-Canada Highway Reopens After Crash”

Published:

Police have reported that traffic has resumed on a stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway on Newfoundland’s western coast following an earlier crash that had closed both lanes. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police announced the reopening of the highway at approximately 8 p.m., after initially notifying the public of the closure around 1:30 p.m.

Motorists were cautioned about the potential for delays and urged to reduce speed when approaching the affected area, located approximately six kilometers west of the Flat Bay Junction near the Flat Bay community and Route 403 in the Bay St. George region.
