“Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Windsor Tragedy”

The Windsor Police Service is currently looking into a tragic accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Thursday night. Responding officers arrived at the scene shortly after 10 p.m. at the junction of Central Avenue and Tecumseh Road E. According to the police, a 53-year-old woman was struck by a passing vehicle while crossing Tecumseh Road E. away from a designated crossing point and was pronounced deceased on-site. The driver involved in the incident stayed at the location.
