Apple has introduced AppleCare One in the UK, a subscription service for users with multiple Apple devices. Previously available in the US, this service now allows British customers to protect up to three eligible devices under one plan for £16.99 per month.
Covering a range of products such as iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches, AppleCare One offers repair services or up to three replacement devices per year for accidental damage, loss, or theft. This new subscription enhances the existing benefits of AppleCare+, including unlimited accidental damage repairs, battery servicing, and 24/7 Apple support.
By consolidating multiple product protections into one subscription, users can potentially save up to £11.48 per month compared to individual AppleCare+ plans for each device. Notably, AppleCare One allows devices up to four years old to be added as long as they are in good condition, extending coverage beyond the typical 60-day window.
Apple emphasizes the flexibility of AppleCare One, stating that customers can protect their existing devices without the need for recent purchases. Additionally, the plan automatically adjusts when upgrading devices, seamlessly transferring coverage to new products without extra steps.
Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, highlighted the customer-centric approach of AppleCare One, emphasizing the simplicity and flexibility it offers to UK users. This streamlined service provides peace of mind by ensuring all eligible Apple products can be covered under one comprehensive plan.
