Jamie-Lee Arrow, the daughter of a cannibal known as “The Skara Cannibal,” has shared her experience of growing up in a household with her father who murdered and ate his girlfriend. Despite the gruesome events, Jamie-Lee still feels love for her father, even though she described his home as resembling a horror movie.
In 2010, Jamie-Lee’s father, Isakin Drabbad, killed his girlfriend, Helle Christensen, and consumed parts of her body. He was later convicted of murder and initially sent to a mental health facility in 2011. However, he became an outpatient in 2020 and was provided with an apartment in Sweden.
Recounting the events leading up to her stepmother’s murder, Jamie-Lee revealed that the relationship between her father and Helle had deteriorated to the point where Helle expressed fear for her life to Jamie-Lee. She recalled a chilling moment when Helle warned her that Drabbad intended to kill her. The situation escalated, with Helle and Drabbad engaging in a violent confrontation in front of Jamie-Lee and Helle’s children.
On a tragic evening in November 2010, Drabbad brutally killed Helle by slitting her throat, decapitating her, and cooking parts of her body. Jamie-Lee learned about the horrific incident from her mother and expressed disbelief until her father confirmed the details.
Despite the dark and unsettling environment she grew up in, Jamie-Lee shared that her father had a fascination with satanic beliefs and often introduced her to dark practices, such as making voodoo dolls. She received a satanic bible from him at the age of 11 and encountered disturbing experiences, including being given a voodoo doll when she confided about being bullied at school.
Despite the traumatic past, Jamie-Lee expressed her enduring love for her father, acknowledging the complexities of family ties. She emphasized that while she maintains love for him, she cannot condone his actions or have him be a part of her life.
In a recent interview, Jamie-Lee expressed her desire to provide her own children with a safe and loving environment, free from the darkness she experienced. She emphasized her commitment to shielding her children from any form of negativity and ensuring they grow up surrounded by love and positivity.
