The family of Biscuit, a fluffy Holland Lop rabbit who was taken from the Markham Fair during the weekend, happily announced that he has been located and safely reunited with them. Victoria McClelland expressed their delight in a Facebook post, sharing the joy of having their cherished pet back home. Biscuit was reportedly taken by individuals at the fair but was returned unharmed after a cash reward offer was made online.
McClelland previously mentioned the distress the family, particularly her daughter, experienced due to Biscuit’s disappearance. They received immense support from the community and Markham Fair organizers who joined efforts for Biscuit’s safe return. McClelland highlighted the positive impact of the situation on their daughter, who felt overwhelmed by the outpouring of care and assistance from strangers.
York Region police, handling the investigation, chose not to provide any comments on the matter. The Markham and East York Agricultural Society released a statement expressing their happiness upon learning about Biscuit’s safe homecoming. Devin King, the fair’s president, conveyed their excitement that Biscuit is back where he belongs.
