Carey Price is set to be honored at the Bell Centre, where he has spent his entire illustrious NHL career, for his upcoming Hall of Fame induction. The Montreal Canadiens revealed that Price will be celebrated on November 10, following his induction on November 9. This will mark Price as the 62nd member of the organization to be enshrined in the Hall of Fame and added to the Bell Centre’s Ring of Honour, a distinction reserved for former players who have achieved hockey greatness.
Having played all 15 seasons with the Canadiens, Price holds an impressive record of 251 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage in 712 career games. He holds the franchise record for most games played and victories as a goaltender. The celebration will take place during a game against the Minnesota Wild.
Price, a seven-time all-star and the fifth overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry draft, will also be recognized for his achievements in the sport. The Canadiens are gearing up for their pre-season opener on September 19, with the regular season commencing on September 29 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
