“Police Investigate Collision Between RCMP Vehicle and Truck”

Police are currently looking into an incident that occurred last week near Liverpool, N.S., involving a collision between an unmarked RCMP vehicle and a commercial truck. According to a press release from the RCMP on Monday, emergency services were dispatched on Friday morning to respond to a head-on crash on Port Medway Road involving an unmarked RCMP SUV and a Ford pickup truck. Both drivers, who were the sole occupants of their respective vehicles, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital. Following the accident, Port Medway Road in the vicinity of Eastern Shore Road was shut down for several hours.
