Provincial authorities are investigating the death of a man discovered unconscious on Sunday evening in Baie-Saint-Paul, Quebec, as a possible homicide case. The man, aged in his 40s, was found in a residence on Rang de St. Placide S. at approximately 7:15 p.m. After being rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced deceased.
The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) has not disclosed many specifics regarding the incident. Sgt. Audrey-Anne Bilodeau mentioned that law enforcement is seeking one or two suspects and no arrests have been made yet. A perimeter has been established, and police are actively seeking to interview potential witnesses.
Baie-Saint-Paul, located an hour north of Quebec City, last experienced a homicide in 2019.
