RCMP in rural western New Brunswick are currently investigating the deaths of two men discovered in a residence. The authorities were alerted to the incident at around 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday on Knowlesville Road in the community of Knowlesville. Inside the residence, a 68-year-old man and a 74-year-old man, both residents of Knowlesville, were found deceased. The individuals were acquainted with each other, and there is no perceived danger to the public, according to a news release issued on Friday. The deaths are considered suspicious, prompting the involvement of the RCMP major crime unit in the investigation. Autopsies have been planned to determine the precise causes of death.
