“Speculation Swirls: Trump Conceals Hand Mark Ahead of Zelensky Meeting”

Published:

Concerns over Donald Trump’s health arose when an unusual mark on his hand captured attention before his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The US leader was seen outside his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida sporting what some speculate could be makeup or paint concealing a possible bruise on his hand. Prior to his meeting with Zelensky, the 79-year-old engaged with reporters to discuss the latest iteration of a 20-point peace proposal.

Trump has previously been observed camouflaging hand bruises with light-colored concealer or wearing bandages and plasters.

Earlier in the month, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt attributed a dark purple bruise on Trump’s right hand to his frequent handshakes, stating that “The Oval Office is like Grand Central terminal. He is meeting with more people than any of you know about on a daily basis.”

She added, “He’s also following a daily aspirin regimen, which, as indicated by his previous physical examinations, can contribute to the bruising you observe.”

The day before Leavitt’s remarks, Trump responded to claims of his declining pace. On December 10, he announced on Truth Social that he had completed another “Cognitive Examination” in the presence of various unfamiliar medical experts, which he claimed he excelled in.

Denying any signs of slowing down, Trump expressed his frustration with reports questioning his mental acuity and physical well-being, emphasizing his diligent efforts and dismissing such allegations as baseless attacks.

On December 1, Leavitt disclosed the results of Trump’s recent MRI in a memo from White House doctor Captain Sean Barbabella, confirming that imaging of Trump’s heart and abdomen showed no abnormalities, with his cardiovascular system deemed to be in excellent condition.
